“There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬

We all dream of true justice, but none of us has any real concept of it would look like. For most of us, it is seeing those who oppose us getting the punishment they deserve. In reality, there is no one above another, and everyone is deserving of some kind of punishment, for righteousness is not held by any one people.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

No matter what injustice has been done, the Lord is aware and will take action. I found joy this morning as I was reminded of the overwhelming power given by the Holy Spirit, to the One, Jesus who will judge the nations. He is bringing justice that will not be a respecter of persons, of race, or any other identifier, except whether they know Him or not.

The justice that is coming to the world is that which comes from God. When Jesus returns, He will have no concern for the agendas of men, for He is has only the agenda of holiness. He will not come with the wisdom of man, but by the sevenfold power of the Holy Spirit, giving Him insight into all things.

There will be no postering, no negotiations, as all will have already been revealed, for even now the Lord is examining hearts, and from the foundation of the earth He has known us.

I am thankful that my Lord knows me from the inside out, and that nothing is hidden from Him.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV

As I have sought to know God through His holy word, He has gotten to know me, for the Scriptures are an X-ray, examining the reader even as he reads. By the power of the Holy Spirit, He knows all my inward parts.

Those that do not know the Lord have no escape, for the Lord knows their inward parts as well. He judges all with His righteousness, and no one can compare.

Because the Lord is examining us even now, and because we can hide nothing from Him, let us live as such. We are transparent before the Lord, and there are no secret places.

There are moments when stray thoughts cross my mind, and I feel very embarrassed, because I know my Lord knew them long before the came to my mind.

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.”
Psalms 139:1-2 NKJV

Brothers and sisters, we have been given a great mission, as we have been commanded to go and tell the world of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We go prepared by God, filled with His Holy Spirit, and equipped with all the needed weapons of warfare.

We do not go into a world, devoid of knowledge, but full of the mind of Christ, able to perceive without seeing, or hearing, but examining all we encounter compared with the righteousness of Christ.

We take the Gospel with no regard of self, facing injustice at every turn, because we know the our Lord is coming again, and He will make all things right. Let us focus on holiness, living with the understanding that we are transparent to God, thus offering a clear reflection of our Savior to the world. We are His ambassadors, and for many, we are the only representation that they may have.

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
II Corinthians 5:20-21 NKJV

  1. Christ will have “the agenda of holiness.“ What an amazing and mind blowing thought Bernie. Thank you!

In studying two Thessalonians three recently, here’s the scripture that magnified Jesus so much. I am praying for you my friend.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 (ESV) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.
