“The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous. The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:12-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The pressure is building. There is a sense of expectancy in the world, as there is a sense that nothing will ever be as it was before. Not only that, but all seems untenable, unable to be sustained. Even the most positive among us have a sense that our world is broken with no remedy.

In these times, it seems as if those who are wicked have the upper hand, as the just appear to be suffering. I awoke this morning to the news that the most wealthy in the world have doubled their wealth during this pandemic. I also heard that those on the bottom have become all the more poor.

Many of those who are amongst the most wealthy, are also among the most wicked, as they have made their wealth off of the backs of the people who work for them, who earn little and work long hours.

“He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.”
Proverbs 14:31 NKJV

This morning, as with many mornings, the Lord provided me with His answer to the problems plaguing the world, with an insight to what is to come. When I look at all that is occurring, I can see the machinations of God being played out, as He sets up His prerequisites for the end of times and the return of Jesus.

There is coming a day when those who oppress will vanish, swept away by the righteousness of Jesus when He establishes His millennial reign.

The very powerful, will be no more. There will not even be a memory of them, for that will be in the vanishing, the great taking away of the wicked, destined for the lake of fire.

Those who are just, will rule and reign, in a world where all is right.

“But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.”
‭‭Amos‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is also a war over the culture going on, as the world media seeks to convince humanity that things not normal, are normal, and anyone who dares speak up should be canceled. Throughout the nation and the world, those who stand for what was right, are pushed down, pressured into conforming to the new normal.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”
Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV

Brothers and sisters, the world is sowing seeds of its own destruction, not realizing that every sword they poke at the just, will be used against them in the judgement. They who call upon the name of the Lord will stand firm, and not be moved.

Let us be faithful to be bold, not compromised in these uncertain times. The trouble of these times, it is but a glimpse and an assurance that the Lord is about to do what He said He would do.

““Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
John 14:1-3 NKJV

He is preparing that place, He will return and justice will roll through the world. One day the New Jerusalem will bring God to earth, and He will tabernacle with us, and we with Him.

Let us be about our mission to share the Good News throughout the world, as time is increasingly short.

““And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.””
Revelation 22:12-13 NKJV
