Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.””

Supper
Sitting here on a Thanksgiving morning, reflecting on the glorious year of blessing that God has given me, I can’t help but rejoice. Years ago the Lord gave me Matthew 6:33.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33 NKJV
As I have made the Lord my focus, He has met all my needs.
God has called me to this life, and I have responded in love, as He is all I want. As my time winds down, I am in a race of endurance. I battle daily to press forward, magnifying the Lord Jesus in my life, with all my strength. I press on, not for the reward in the present, but for that moment when I hear well done Good and faithful servant.
Thanksgiving is a time of great suppers, and fellowship, as people of common bond come together to meet and rejoice together. There is coming another great supper, for those whom have called upon the name of the Lord, who have lived lives dedicated to seeking the Lord.
At the end of the times we are in, all those who have been called into the Kingdom of God will gather for the marriage supper of the Lamb.
All the saints, new and old will gather together, having witnessed the destruction of the Harlot, the great enemy of God and His people. We will raise our voices to glorify Jesus, the One who saved us. By this time we will have been made radiant, clean and dressed in white, having gone through the purification of persecution. When the pressure is at its highest, decisions are made, as some choose to follow Christ, and others choose to fall away.
The great cloud of witnesses, now complete and assembled, will give glory to He who sits on the throne.
In recognition of what is to come, let us be about living as Christians, glorifying God and living holy lives. In the coming year, may we be devoted to pressing on, seeking first the Kingdom of God as His righteousness, living up to the reputation of that great cloud of witnesses.
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV
Our job today is to increase the number of those called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. We have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world, preaching the Good News to those trapped in sin and destined for hell. We must rescue as many people as possible from the draw of the Harlot, as we share the manifold wisdom of God to those trapped in the ignorance of this present world.
We are to be like wisdom in the book of proverbs, calling out to the simple from the high places.
“She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city, “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed. Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.”
Proverbs 9:3-6 NKJV
The foolishness of these times is deadly, and many have gone down to the grave, whose capacity is nowhere near full.
Let this Thanksgiving prompt us to be about the Father’s business, as we are motivated by His grace and the blessings we have received. May next Thanksgiving be the first one with real meaning for those we are able to reach and lead to Jesus.
