“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.”
Revelation 12:1-2 NKJV
Signs
September 23, 2017
“The September 23, 2017 star sign prophecy, also referred to as the Revelation 12 sign by adherents is an apocalyptic belief that an astronomical alignment on September 23, 2017 fulfilled the concept known as the Woman of the Apocalypse that appears in the first two verses of Revelation 12.” – Wikipedia
Followers of Jesus who are walking closely in the Spirit have a sense that the events of the end times are soon, or perhaps, already upon us. The Lord has provided many indicators for the world to see. The Revelation twelve sign was foretold by those who study the stars. They had seen its appearing using a computer program called Stellarium.
At the time of the appearing of the alignment, many became very excited, as it brought the hope of rapture for those who adhere to the “pretrib” rapture scenario. When it came and went, there was great disappoint, as the time passed and those who were hoping for escape were still here. Many discarded the idea and the meaning, for it did not fit their beliefs.
Others thought that it might have been the beginning of the times we consider the tribulation period, with things becoming more turbulent with the passage of time, until the onslaught of the harlot, the ministry of the two witnesses becoming public, war on Israel in Gog/Magog, and the coming of the man of lawlessness: the antichrist.
That alignment had previously appeared 7000 years before.
I don’t pretend to know what it all meant, but by the trend of the times we are living in, I have a sense that it had some meaning, as it coincides with the global shift happening in our world. Each of the years since the alignment have gotten worse and worse, with next year promising to be far more complex and difficult than the previous years.
In my walk of faith, I have learned not to put God in a box, as He can do whatever He desires, when He desires and does not have to adhere to the traditions of men.
What it does tell me is that we must be ready. “He who has an ear, let him hear.”
Those who are paying attention have begun to take steps to be ready. The wise are drawing closer to Jesus, seeking to know Him and make Him known. The unwise are living as if they have forever, or they are falling away.
Over the past several years, I have seen so many people that I thought were solid in the faith, fall away. They did not merely stop going to church, but their beliefs flipped to the degree that they had traded the values of the Scriptures for those of the world.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV
When Paul cautioned Timothy, he was not writing of those outside the church, for they were already degenerate, but he was talking of people who had named the name of the Lord, who were occupying the pews.
“Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.”
Acts 20:28-30 NKJV
The falling away has begun.
It is time to firm up what has become soft, and strengthen the weak places. I do not pretend to know what is coming, but I sense that all that we have hoped for, and dreaded, is near. Let us abide in the Lord.
Brothers and sisters, we have heard the word “unprecedented” daily as things happen in our world that have never happened before. It is time to decide if you will continue to walk with the Lord, or fall away. Your action, or inaction, will determine your fate. It is that close.
It is not a time for fear, but celebration, because we know that our Lord will soon appear, bringing into fruition the hope we have had for so many centuries. As the early disciples watched the Lord ascend into Heaven, those of us who remain will cross paths with Jesus when He returns to bring judgement to world.
Unbelievers, the clock is ticking. Just like the appearance of alignment got the attention of unbelieving sky watchers, those of you who do not yet believe cannot help but sense that change is coming. The world is in increasing turmoil.
Let today be the day that you consider Jesus.

The following verses came to mind as I was reading your blog today my friend. I may the Lord’s grace, His strength, lift you up my friend.
Psalms 19:1-6 (ESV) 1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, 5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. 6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Titus 2:11 (ESV) For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,
1 Peter 4:7-8 (ESV) 7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
