He remains

“Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭46:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He remains

We are shaken. We just ended a war, and the end is messy, has created much chaos in many lives, and many will die. Some what to blame our current president, some the past. Since both wanted to pull out, I’d there is blame, there is plenty to go around.

In the midst of of this I seldom hear of the influence of God in all of this. In reality , God is sovereign, in control and everything we are seeing is ordained by Him.

When one lives a life devoid of God, it is easy to get to a point where the workings of God seem hard to see. We have become very good at explaining away the presence of God in every aspect of our lives, to the degree that we no longer notice. So we go about trying consider all that is happening as if it is man made.

“I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. For Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.’”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:3-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When one keeps a God focus and knows who is in charge, the pressure to seek solutions is greatly lessened, resulting in greater peace. Sometime I think our old deadman rises up, and the inner Adam springs forth from the grave says: “I can fix this!” We have yet to notice that our past efforts have simply lead to more pain.

Brothers and sisters, we are entering truly troubling times, but it is also a sign to settle down and focus on the One who is in control. Remember this. God ordained EVERY SINGLE president we have had. He put them all into office. Because of that we look to the Lord for our help.

Troubled by all that you are seeing? Pray! Troubled by the people around you? Pray. And, witness. God has given those who have been saved a mission to spread the Gospel.

“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭4:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do not be drawn away by things only God can fix. Do not find yourself trying to play God. Never allow yourself to forget that God is sovereign.

Happy Wednesday!!!!

  1. Will you please pray but I will be a “man who executes My counsel”? Also, I blew a tire on my semi yesterday just south of Osceola Iowa. Will you please pray for a man named Jordan, who also was on the same exit with a blown tire? Said he was raised Mormon, but was not connected to it anymore. And, will you please pray for our repair technician Brandin, a man in need of sobriety and also the Lord? Both we’re grateful to receive Bible tracts. Continuing to pray for your healing my friend.
