“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We are living in a time when the word “unprecedented” seems to be a constant reminder of the times that we are living in. We look at the struggles that appear to be overwhelming the nation, and the world and we feel completely powerless. The reality is, we are.

From the beginning of these troubles, we have been faced with a supernaturally inspired set of crises. Because we are so grounded in the flesh, either by looking squarely at our problems rather than the Lord, or because we are not believers, we cannot see the impossibility of finding a solution via earthly means.

I will say this: regardless of who is elected in November, this nation is going to explode in raging violence and further upheaval. That is the goal, after all. Many are deceived into thinking that all that is happening is the result of one conspiracy or another. Because of that, they are further deceived into thinking that solutions for all the issues is all a matter of finding the right candidate.

I will say it again, this is all supernatural, ordained by God as part of His plan. It is not going to blow over. It is going to get worse. The marching and looting is giving way to the killing. That will not stand. Inevitably, the shots are going to be returned, regardless of the outcome.

Now is the time to trust in the Lord. We cannot lean on our own understanding. Demonic powers are using weapons of flesh and blood for their goals. There is no time for distractions.

Believers, be concerned that people are dying and going to hell. Be concerned that time is short. Leave the worries of this world to the Lord and do the things we have been called to do.

I am daily convicted when I waste time on things that are beyond my control. I am most sad of all when I fail to realize that I can do nothing, and a soul that I could have reached did not hear about Jesus, but instead heard my political view.

THE PRAYER CHAIR IS FINALLY OPEN! Send me your requests!

  1. Great challenge Bernie! “Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.“ Thank you so much for your hard work and balanced perspective. May the Lord bring salvation and sanctification through the words he gives you my friend.
