Unclean lips

“Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6:5-8‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Unclean lips

I am a man with unclean lips. I am a man with unclean eyes. I am a man with unclean hands. By the power of God, and by His divine grace and mercy, I have been forgiven. I am not one esteemed, for I am lowly, broken, and damaged.

Send me.

I sit with damaged body, with great weakness, and little vitality. I look back at less time, then that when I look forward. There are better choices to deliver the message of the Gospel.

Send me.

I am a man of no reputation, not to be desired. I have little influence, my name is not shouted from roof tops. I am not perfect, I have flaws that fill my life. I go from good to bad in a heart beat.

Send me.

In my weak times, I love the things that are evil, I eschew that which is good. I hold prejudices against people who are not like me. I have pride and I sometimes place myself above others.

Send me.

I am being transformed in the presence of a Holy God. His grace and love is changing me day by day as I go out and represent my Savior.

If any of you saw yourselves in the above statement, know that the Lord can send even you. We have all been given a testimony: one that tells of the transforming power of the cross. It is a story that needs to be heard, especially right now.

If you are in the struggle with sin, you too can be used. I am amazed as the Lord uses me. He certainly uses the foolish things, and people of the world to confound the wise.

When I became ill, I thought it was over, life on the shelf. No more being used by God.

But God.

He was not done with me. He channeled my love and devotion to Him, from physical service to prayer, from the ministry of flesh and blood to ministry in the spirit as I lift others to the throne. I have blessed with His presence as He pierces through the mundane and instantly makes it the spectacular. He is magnificent!

Raise your hand today.

Who shall we send.

Send me!
