“Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will give feigned obedience to You. All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name.” Selah. Come and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.”
Psalms 66:1-5 NASBShout!
I went to bed last night, filled with the presence of the Lord. I have made it my habit to worship with a few videos at the end of my day to help me to wind down from the striving. The selection last night was amazing as I sat listening, tearfully as God blessed my heart and visited me in my solitude.
I awoke this morning with an awesome peace. Typically, I awake with a hint of dread, as I approach an uncertain day. Not this morning. In reality, my situation has not changed, but the place, or whom, I am putting my attention has. I am looking to my Savior King, full of Glory!
I shout this morning, as Jesus has changed my perspective from one of mourning, to one of dancing. He is a great God and worthy to be praised! As the passage above states, I am shouting joyfully to Him. He is in control! I am not.
He is banishing the darkness of this present time, and reminding me that I am His and He has defeated all things. He is the source of my delight, and my joy!
Shout of His glory!
Believers, remember, God is in control of all things! Rejoice that your joy is in Heaven and that He is the provider, Jehovah Jireh, and knows all that you need, even when you do not.
Go out and shout of His glory to ears open to hear. He has given us this time of uncertainty, to tell the world of the one certain thing: salvation in Jesus Christ. Jesus Saves.
Little in this present time is in our control, but we know the One who is. Call on Him today. If you are one who has not accepted the free gift of a God’s grace, let today be the day when you begin to shout. Our God is one who saves!
God is in the midst of this pandemic, and I daily find new things to encourage me. I see people reaching out to others and sharing what they have for the betterment of others, I see people reaching out to share the Gospel. People who are otherwise uncomfortable with witnessing, are finding the courage and increased opportunities to tell of what God has done in them and for them.
Be encouraged today. Not only has God spared you from hell by the atoning work of Jesus Christ, but He has given you a new life. We can look at situations we face with a different attitude. By looking heavenward, we see clearly and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have a glimpse of the glory to come!
God also gives us the confidence of knowing that He is there and will walk us through this and all trials.
“You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.”
Psalms 66:12 NASBShout to the Lord today with a voice of victory!

Psalms 100:1-5 (ESV) 1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
