Remembering God’s faithfulness

Rediscovered ebenezer stone bringing much peace this morning. Back in 2004, about this time I entered the adventure of my life. An X-ray at the Mayo Clinic was my launch for the adventure for it revealed a tumor on my spine that threatened me with paralysis and potential death from cancer. After a long, late night of tests and patient interviews, I had a moment of peace where I could reflect. I searched the radio I had brought with me and found KFSI in Rochester. I tuned in just in time to catch John MacArthur preaching on Heaven. Over the next two weeks I heard sermon after sermon that gave me courage to face what was to come. I entered the adventure fearing the idea of dying. By the end of the series, I was ready come what may.
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭NKJV‬

I have started listening to podcasts and lo and behold I found the Heaven series. Peace is flowing like a river as are tears of joy. Rejoicing in God’s goodness, His mercy and His faithfulness! Glory!
