Prayer chair entry 12/26

“And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:28-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. We see the workings of God in our lives, especially the blessings and we seek to follow Him. Like Peter we want to walk as Jesus walked and set foot on the seas of life. Like the sea, life is turbulent and volatile. The footing becomes unsteady and we find ourselves sinking in the stresses of the world. Like Peter we take our eyes off Jesus and look down at the problems. Suddenly they are all we see and we begin to sink. “Jesus save me!”, we cry out in our fear. Finally we look to Jesus and He grabs us.
It is hard not to notice all the boisterous seas surrounding our lives today. Try to take a moment to seek Him in the face of trouble. Let prayer be the first step, and the second and the third. Pray for your needs and then pray for the needs of others for we are all walking on sea and some of us are sinking. THE PRAYER CHAIR IS OPEN!!! Send me your requests!
